Last year we were introduced to protocols and mandates we hadn't seen in our public school systems before or at least since 1918. I saw parents getting upset with teachers who were being forced to follow these new rules so that the powers that be would not shut down the schools. Most parents and some teachers that I spoke to seemed to be against forced mask mandates. At the last school board meeting I saw a mix of people for and against the mask mandates. So just a simple question. Was I wrong in thinking that the majority of Lincoln county parents would rather have the option to decide whether or not their child wears a mask at school as opposed to a forced mandate? Just a question.
